Triple your creativity

Most artists are busy looking for their creative voice.

Forget that.

You don’t have to look for your creative voice because you never lost it.

Your graceful muse has never left you and is probably hiding in one of the chambers of your heart.

Maybe she was laughed at by someone she trusted. Not taken seriously. Ignored.

Perhaps she felt ashamed. Sad. She didn’t feel seen.

She felt she didn’t matter.

She made herself small, cowered away like a skittish deer. And… she refuses to reappear until she’s sure the coast is clear.

When you were three, you had everything in order.

You pulled the pristine books from your parents’ antique cupboard and gave them colorful illustrations. You smeared chalk and chocolate ice cream on your dungarees as if it were the most normal thing in the world. You went to sleep with sand between your toes until your mother found out and you had to shower every night from then on.

You were ready to discover the world and you really weren’t preoccupied with strange thoughts like:

  • I have no artistic talent

  •  I have no idea how to play

  •  I can’t draw

For days, you’d fill your sketchbook with castles and knights, riding ferocious unicorns with swinging tails and mother-of-pearl horns.

Need I say more?

Look. What actually happened is:

You worked TOGETHER with your creative muse, aka, your inner artist. And because you were busy with BEING, your mind didn’t get the chance to think, so everything just came into existence.

It’s that simple.

Now you.

What can you do today to reconnect with your creative muse?

Three things:

  1. Stop thinking, start doing. In other words: flush your excuses down the toilet, collect your materials, sit down, and DO THE WORK.

  2.  Stop scrolling. All that time that you are on Instagram, peeping at the goodies that you are sure you will never be able to create, will be better spent on your own development. Delete Instagram from your phone or put a time lock on it. There are apps that can help you with that.

  3. Be patient. No significant artist became world famous in one week. Developing craftsmanship takes time, discipline, and focus.

And then there’s something else. It is perhaps the most important.

Stop adapting.

What others think of your creations is their business and not your problem. Don’t be fooled by expectations or opinions, and certainly not by people who don’t understand it.

Be unapologetically you.

The moral of the story: When you reconnect with your inner core, your center, everything you say and do becomes unparalleled because no one has your hands, eyes, or brain.

Your fiery, primordial core. That’s where everything starts.

Others will unexpectedly follow you instead of the other way around, because you apparently touched something that others were wildly searching for.

There is a very good chance that your inner muse will emerge. She will come to you with an intense, eager look and a generous smile. Gratefully. Because you took her seriously and created a sacred space. That was exactly what she craved.

I praise my inner muse daily. Including on busy Mondays and boring Wednesdays.

The most important thing you have to do now is nurture, train, and celebrate your talent.

The world yearns for your creative revelry.

And last but not least:

Right now, in these times when resilience and adaptability are a huge help and advantage, it’s extremely valuable to support your creative muse.

Yet procrastination and a fragmented mind might throw a spanner in the works.

That s*cks.

But, it’s figure-outable.

I have helped countless creatives and artists from all over the world to find their artistic voice. And they grew like bamboo, flourished like blushing hollyhocks, and most of them never stopped creating after that. They chose their muse and that’s why they now dream bigger than they ever thought possible.

I am brimming with enthusiasm.

In my Super-Startist Membership everything is allowed and nothing is required. This is the place where you are free to intensively enjoy, explore, and explore some more. Where you are supported by a fantastic tribe and where you can use all the techniques you can imagine.

The choice is yours.

Never listen to the voice in your head, aka your inner boss. It speaks out of fear.

Do listen to your heart.

That craves glowing, creative happiness.

Celebrate your inner muse.

She deserves that. And so do you.

Love, Marenthe 💞
